Today we step away from Giants baseball talk and focus on a behind-the- scenes aspect of sports broadcasting – Statistics. Ed Sfida serves as the statistician for Joe Buck on FOX NFL games while Ethan Cooperson is Jim Nantz’s personal stats man on the NFL on CBS. They tell stories about how they became two of the best in the business and what it takes to be a “Big Time Stats Guy.” Since they are both Philadelphia natives, Ed and Ethan both have opinions about former Phillies manager turned Giants manager Gabe Kapler.
We also have a special tribute to another stats legend, Chuck Gardner, our good friend who passed away on Sunday.

We chat about life after baseball, the Astros cheating scandal, the new minimum three-batter rule and Aubrey Huff not being invited to the Giants reunion for the 2010 team. We also take a trip down memory lane and reminisce about some of Jeremy’s best moments in the 2012 and 2014 World Series.
The Bucks, Lakers and Clippers are leading the latest NBA Championship odds. Some of the best sportsbooks online reviewed > here odds for all the top contenders and longshots. Even with the 8th-placed Grizzlies sinking like a stone and Steph Curry returning, the Warriors’ odds to win the Western Conference remain a comically long +250000, which amounts to a 0.04% chance. The reality is that they are 17.5 games back of a playoff spot with only 19 games left and seven teams to leapfrog.
