The Dubs face the 76ers with an 11-game winning streak on the line and their starters peaking. We chat about why the Warriors are clicking and have a conversation about Anthony Davis demanding to be traded by the Pelicans.
The Warriors rolling with 9 wins in a row, meshing with new center DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins and they’re ready to take on the challenge of facing a solid Celtics team in Boston on Saturday night. Ray and Joe discuss the recent hot streak and preview the Celtics game.
The Warriors are surging with 6 wins in a row and now they are poised to add DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins to the lineup on Friday night in Los Angeles when they visit the Clippers. Ray and Joe discuss the recent hot streak, Steph Curry’s amazing shooting run and how Cousins will fit in with his new team.
Klay Thompson clearly has his shot back, scoring 43 points in a blowout win over the Knicks on Tuesday night. Ray and Joe discuss his emergence, and the imminent Warriors debut of DeMarcus Cousins. We also hear from Golden State head coach Steve Kerr and Thompson himself.
On Thursday night the Warriors blew a 20-point lead and watched James Harden hit the game-winning 3-pointer as Houston beat Golden State in overtime. Ray and Joe were on site at Oracle Arena to dissect the game right after it ended.
The Warriors are on shaky ground of late, losing at home to the Lakers on Christmas Day and to the Blazers on Thursday night in OT. Ray and Joe try to figure out what’s going wrong with Golden State’s offense, including a shooting slump that Klay Thompson isn’t acknowledging.
pleasant appointment with Utah as the Jazz performed a 3-point root canal on Wednesday night with 16 baskets beyond the arc. Coincidentally, Ray did this podcast right after he left the dentist’s chair, but he was in better spirits than Steve Kerr, who wants his team to brush up on its ball movement skills.
The Raptors had lost to the Warriors the last 13 times they visited Oakland, but Wednesday was a different story at Oracle Arena. Even though they played without injured Kawhi Leonard, Toronto blew out the Dubs and swept the season series, showing why they are the best team in the NBA right now.
Steph Curry is back in the lineup and he dropped 42 points on the Cavs in the Warriors win in Cleveland on Wednesday. He talks about how he is making progress in his return.
