The Warriors took game 1 of their playoff series with the LA Clippers 121-104. Joe and Ray talk about Steph Curry’s 38 point performance, the ejections of Kevin Durant and Patrick Beverley and what to expect in game 2 on Monday night in Oakland.
The Warriors concluded a 47-year run at Oracle Arena with a win in their final regular season home game in the building. So many memories and emotions were flowing on Sunday night. Golden State also clinched the #1 seed in the Western Conference by beating the Clippers. Ray and Joe take it all in and get you ready for the playoffs!
Kevin Durant only took 6 shots, but showed his overall game as the Warriors bounced back from a blowout loss to Dallas on Saturday with a win on Sunday over Detroit.
The Warriors finished their road trip 3-1 with wins in Houston, Oklahoma City and Minnesota. Steph Curry scored 36 points in the Tuesday win against the Timberwolves. Jonas Jerebko chipped in with 18 points in 18 minutes off the bench.
The Warriors beat the Rockets for the first time this season and they did it on the road without Kevin Durant. Ray and Joe talk about better defense, rebounding and a solid performance by DeMarcus Cousins.
