INSIDE CHINA BASIN: Giants VP Of Player Development David Bell On SF Farm System

Welcome to the INSIDE CHINA BASIN Baseball Podcast

Updated twice a week on!

Our podcasts not only cover the Giants Major League team extensively, we also keep tabs on what’s happening down on the farm. Inside China Basin host Joe Castellano is also hosting the new TV show Orange and Black, Best of the Farm.

Links to the TV show can be found on BAOSN.TV.

Today we have an in-depth interview from Thursday’s TV show with Giants Vice President of Player Development David Bell. He tells us his goals for San Francisco’s minor leaguers and chats about the progress of players at all of the affiliates. Bell also reminisces about the 2002 Giants team that won the National League pennant in a season where he was named the Willie Mac Award winner.
Augusta play-by-play announcer Joe Laurendi is our other guest. He gets us caught up on the Greenjackets’ solid pitching staff and tells us how prospects Heliot Ramos and Jacob Gonzalez are playing in the South Atlantic League.
