San Francisco has won two games in a row after a decisive 36-9 win in New Jersey against the Giants. Former Niners QB Steve Bono was impressed with Nick Mullens who threw for 343 yards on Sunday: “The footwork, the touch and the anticipation were really good in the second half of the game.”

The Niners were decimated by injuries during their week 2 win at the New York Jets. How does the team still succeed with a whole new set of players? Our weekly analyst Steve Bono tackles that question and has some advice for Jimmy G. if he plays with his bad ankle on Sunday on the same Met Life Stadium turf against the Giants: “I would go with basketball shoes from my experience. It worked for me and I know it would work for him as far as not grabbing as much.”
