Welcome to the SAN FRANCISCO 49ers EXTRA podcast on TheSportsVirus.com!
Every Tuesday during the NFL season we chat with Former 49ers QB Steve Bono. Today we talk about the 49ers OT loss to the Cardinals that dropped San Francisco’s record to 0-4.
Bono spent 14 seasons in the NFL. He had a 5-1 record in his 6 Niners starts and finished his career 28-14 overall.

Bono talked to The Sports Virus about QB Brian Hoyer and his receivers: “They’re not in sync…In the beginning I thought it was receivers getting manhandled and then there were a few drops and then I kinda thought Hoyer is not getting them the ball. His timing seemed a little off. In my mind I was thinking, ok he’s getting pressure. But, this weekend there were bad throws, there were bad routes, there were dropped balls. There’s no timing. There’s no rhythm to them.”
