Wednesday at AT&T Park in San Francisco, after he signed autographs for the kids, Giants closer Hunter Strickland joined The Sports Virus. Plus, we caught up with SF pitching coach Curt Young and beat reporter Kerry Crowley from the Bay Area News Group. We also hear from Giants manager Bruce Bochy.
The last time the Nationals visited San Francisco, a brawl broke out after Hunter Strickland drilled Bryce Harper with a pitch. The Sports Virus asked Strickland on Wednesday if he wished he faced Harper in this series: “I’ve gotta get them out no matter who I face…This is a new year. You learn from the past and you move forward.”
The Warriors are up three games to nothing in their first round playoff series with the Spurs after a big win on Thursday in San Antonio. Ray and Joe discuss the game and the series.
