After hearing 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan tell the media that Jimmy Garoppolo’s three plays at the end of the Seahawks game have “no bearing” on his starting QB decision for the Bears game, The Sports Virus and Steve Bono reacted. THE SPORTS VIRUS: “You’ve got to be kidding me, those three plays have to have a bearing.” STEVE BONO: “No question they have a bearing. He came in, in not an easy situation for anyone and made three positive plays in a row, one a very nice throw…to his left, reset his feet and throw a missile in there. They definitely mean something. Actually I think they mean a lot .”
