Welcome to The Sports Virus Podcast

Sportscasters Joe Castellano and Ray Woodson go in-depth to talk about the Bay Area sports scene.

All new in 2024, former KNBR talk show host Ray Woodson and long-time sports announcer Joe Castellano are back to talk about Bay Area sports throughout the year and this is episode number three, discussing the Warriors recent play, Giants spring training and the 49ers defensive coordinator search.

THESPORTSVIRUS PODCAST: SUPER BOWL 58 REVIEW, WARRIORS AT ALL-STAR BREAK

Welcome to The Sports Virus Podcast

Sportscasters Joe Castellano and Ray Woodson go in-depth to talk about the Bay Area sports scene.

All new in 2024, former KNBR talk show host Ray Woodson and long-time sports announcer Joe Castellano are back to talk about Bay Area sports throughout the year and this is episode number two, reviewing Super Bowl 58 and assessing the state of the Warriors at the All-Star break.

Ray and Joe play a game of what ifs when reviewing Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas. A fumble, a muffed punt, and a blocked extra point were three key mistakes that the 49ers made as they lost to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, again. Should they have taken the ball first in overtime? How justified is the narrative surrounding Kyle Shanahan that he can’t win the big game?

The discussion moves to the hardcourt and why the Warriors are in much better shape before the NBA All-Star break than they were just a couple of weeks ago.

It’s all here on the second 2024 edition of TheSportsVirus Podcast.
