Javier Lopez is an important part of the Giants solid bullpen which has had to step up due to injuries this year. After Brian Wilson went on the DL for Tommy John surgery and was lost for the season, Santiago Casilla took over the closer spot. But, even Casilla and Sergio Romo have had to pitch through knee issues. So Lopez and another veteran Clay Hensley have held down the fort. Meanwhile, Lopez says better defense has helped everyone succeed. Javier joined us before a game against the Cubs at AT&T Park.
